For our exam in this class you had us reflect over the first 12 weeks, and that made me realize that we only have 24ish weeks left in our high school career. Next year we will be out on our own hoping that everything we learned over the last few years has prepared us for what lies ahead.
Everything we currently hold in our lives will change yet somehow I feel like we will all (well most of us), will be alright. Everything we have learned in high school is leading us up to these upcoming years. Yes some of the things we learned will never be used again but some will be used everyday.
I honestly think that the things I have learned in learned in the past 12 weeks will be essentail to being successful next year. Everything we do in this class is preparing us for the next stage in our life. Not everything is going to help in the feild I am going in but I believe the majority of it will. The things I personally believe that will help me the most is learning how to write better papers, reflecting over past projects and weeks. Additionally being able to analyze papers will help us analyze other areas of our lives.
High school has also given me hundreds of life lessons that I know I will use, more so even than the information I learn in other classes. High is not just about cramping information into our brains its about teaching us to respectable, civil and nice people to the outside world. Sometimes these two clash very much but we need both. People need to uncover what they believe is more important.
