From a very young age reading was a big part in Ally's life. Her family made sure that she and her brothers read almost everyday for at least 20 minutes. Ally like most people read so would be better in school and partially because her parents made her, but as she got older Ally realized reading is fun if you have a good book. To be a good reader, one must be able to transport their minds into the book, have a want to learn, and experience new place and things. Reading is really easy for Ally when she can clearly visualize the book inside her head just like a movie. When she is so indulged in the book that she doesn't want to put it down. On the other hand Ally finds reading difficult when everything is dragging along, and she can not fully get in the book, when this happens Ally finds that reading feels more like a job than a fun pastime. The type of book that Ally is interested in have romance, action, and mystery. To find a good book Ally reads the summary, and if she finds it interesting she will read the first few chapters. If she is still intrigued by the book she will continue reading, if not she goes to find a new one. Most of the reading Ally does is done at school, unless she finds an amazing book. Then you can find in her bed for hours reading, sometimes all day. When an author can transport a reader to a different place, allow the you to be curious, and have new adventure is what Ally like most about reading and she thinks that everyone should experience the same feeling.

Individuals write to tell a story, express their creativity, and put on paper what is sometimes hard to say.
