This week in class we have continued working on our what is Lit project. I am in a group of three, so my group is farther ahead than other groups. We as a group mainly focused on our presentation.
Our presentation has been constitanly been changed so it flows easier and makes more sense to the audience. Our biggest challenge has been finding the transition between some our slides and topics. However, because all of know our topics very well we are able to help eachother out. Our biggest advantage is that what we will say,is not on the slide. A good presenter knows their topic like the back of their hand, and they should be able to enlighten the audience of it very easily.
I am finding this part of the presentation very easy because I am apart of BPA. This is what we do in our competitions. I knew that doing BPA would help me in my life outside of competition but I never knew that it applied to english. This made me think about what other ways english relate to BPA. In BPA, I am apart of the global marketing team so we have to write a business plan, and I realized that one way my team is so much better than the others is because we use advanced language and proper grammer. Never once has a judge found an error of thing of that sort in our paper. The speaking portion is helping a lot more now that I have to present more frequetly in all of my classes.
I am postive that I would have no where near the confidence I have in both this class and in BPA without relating these two topics.
