So this week I am reflecting over the book I have been reading in class for the past six weeks. The book I read is called Stranger by Albert Camus, I am not going to give away the plot or anything but throughout the whole book myself as a reader noticed that you don't know who the speaker is at all. If i am not mistaken his actual name is never mentioned. He was defined by his actions throughout but who he actually was is unknown.
This made me start thinking about how its my senior year and I can honestly say that don't know many people in my class. I might not even know that they are in my class, or their name. These people I have potentially gone to school with for 12 years could be complete strangers. Due to the fact that I take mostly honors classes, I seem to have classes with most of the same people. These people then becomes my friends and they are the people I know.
This then took me back what I said in the previous paragraph. Our actions define who we are, I am no longer relating this to classes but to the people I don't know. Even though I may not know many of this people on a personal level, I have heard stories. Most of these stories involve the things that they have done and based on the action they took, that is now how I may judge them. What they did most likely will affect how I think of them.
So what do people think of me. Do my actions give off a good perception to the people who see me as a stranger.
